Make a Set of Silver Stacker Rings in a Day with the Bishopsland Educational Trust

26 Sept: design and make your own set of silver stacking rings.

  • Booking essential

Create your own set of beautiful sterling silver stacker rings in this fun, hands-on workshop. Using traditional silversmithing techniques, you’ll craft a unique set of rings to take home and wear with pride.

Our experienced tutor will guide you through every step of the process, showing you how to transform sterling silver into your finished rings. Along the way, you’ll learn essential jewellery-making skills, including sizing, forming, forging, sawing, filing, sanding, soldering and polishing, while using a range of specialist hand tools.

No previous experience is needed. All tools, materials (including sterling silver) and expert tuition are included, so you can simply enjoy the experience of creating jewellery from scratch.

Your tutor Machi de Waard is a designer/jeweller who has been making modernist jewellery in silver and gold in her studio in Reading, Berkshire for over 17 years.

You can do this course as a standalone or book multiple short courses to build up a bank of jewellery and metal smithing skills.

All the tools, materials and teaching needed to produce your rings will be provided. The course takes place at the Bishopsland Educational Trust, Hills Yard, Buscot, Faringdon SN7 8BY.
