Snowdrops walk at Hughenden Manor
From January to mid-February, snowdrops bloom across the grounds of Hughenden Manor. Their delicate white flowers form gentle paths that lead up to the house. Quiet winter walks as spring starts to arrive.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
You may spot the first snowdrops along the road to Hughenden Manor, just before the church and beside the gently flowing stream. These small white blooms have been cherished in gardens for centuries and are often the first sign of spring. At Hughenden, snowdrops can be seen in the Manor Wood, the pleasure grounds, the parterre, and on the north lawn. They also grow near the beehives, where you can enjoy views of the back garden and the historic house. Delicate and simple in appearance, snowdrops have long symbolised fresh beginnings and bring a quiet beauty to Hughenden each year.
