Ink, pens and paintbrushes; writing history at Hughenden

Our new exhibition at Hughenden Manor, will look at the long and impactful use of pens and paintbrushes at Hughenden from Disraeli's influence to the significant work of World War II mapmakers.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

From the writing of best-selling novels, to the draughting of transformative legislation and even the painting of conflict-altering maps - they have all happened here at Hughenden. The pens and brushes that were put to use here had power, and now a story to tell.
