On Monday 21 December, in addition to exploring Stowe's 250 acres of landscape gardens for free, visitors will be able to enjoy a Christmas Journey, Stowe's family Christmas trail.
Begin your adventure at New Inn, where you can discover how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Visit Stowe’s Christmas headquarters, peek into the elves' workshop to see their preparations for the big day, and share your own festive traditions on our community wall. You might even find a new tradition to adopt!
Then step outside and explore the garden this winter with your festive passport in hand. Follow the Christmas trail through Stowe's beautiful landscape, uncovering festive facts and traditions from different countries along the way. Collect stamps and capture memories with fun photo opportunities.

The basics

800m walk to garden entrance from car park. Free access shuttle operates daily from cafe to garden entrance. Plenty of accessible parking. Accessible toilets at New Inn, by the cafe, and at the garden entrance. Accessible vehicles available to hire (phone in advance to book).
