Diya Painting
Head to the Bennett Room to paint Diyas (clay oil lamps).
- Booking not needed
- Free event
On Diwali, clay oil lamps 'diyas' are lit in the home and in public places such as places of worship. The lighting of the diya symbolises 'inner light' and it is encouraged to spread light, compassion and kindness to others just as you would use a diya to light up another diya. Drop in on Saturday 7 November between 10am-4pm and paint your own!
