Immerse yourself in the art of taxidermy and see some spectacular birds that have captured imaginations for centuries.
Revisit every month to discover a different specimen from Calke's extensive collection in the Yellow Room, from birds which still grace our skies, like the Blackbird, to those that are now extinct, such as the Slender-billed Curlew.
Admire each one up-close, take in their distinct features and learn more about these winged wonders.

The Yellow Room is on the first floor of the house. Access to the first floor is via the main staircase, which has 26 steps and a handrail on the left. Wheelchairs are available to borrow from the first floor.
