- Free event
Calling all curious minds and nature lovers! Come along to our event on the 29th May to 'Meet the Moths'! We'll be conducting a humane moth trap for everyone to discover the many different species of moths that live in Ilam Park. They come in all different shapes and sizes, colours and patterns! They don't just fly at night and very few actually eat clothes! Learn all about the magical moths on display and let us introduce you to some other beautiful examples that we know live here. Enjoy meeting them in all their fluffy glory and then get stuck in at the mothy drawing station!
Our drawing station will have colouring and activity sheets so you can draw your favourite moths, design your own and capture lots of observations of these lovely creatures.
Drop in between 10:30am - 2:30pm at the gazebo
