Escape into nature at Ilam Park this May half term and capture it all in your own Nature Journal! Sketch the stunning views, colour in wildflowers, and collect found treasures.

  • Booking not needed

Unleash your family's inner nature explorers and artists at Ilam Park! For just £3 per person, collect one of our beautifully designed Nature Journals and embark on an adventure through the stunning parkland. Let the beauty of nature inspire you – from the rustling leaves to the vibrant wildflowers. Discover our Hidden Wildlife photography outdoor exhibition and take a peak at the nature we’ve seen enjoying the park. Keep exploring the park and discover our 'nature stations' that will get you noticing nature! Then, pop into the Stables Bookshop to our creative station, filled with fun art supplies and inspiring ideas! Personalise your journal, capture your discoveries in it and make it unique! After your visit take your Nature Journal home and continue to fill its pages with your family's special moments in nature, creating a treasured keepsake for years to come. These journals can be enjoyed by all the family from tiny tots to not so grown ups. Nature is for everyone and so is nature journaling. For an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Ilam Park wildlife, come along on the 29th May and meet some of the fluffy winged inhabitants for our Meet the Moths event. Do you think all British moths are brown and boring? Think again! Get creative with colouring in and activity sheets so you can draw your favourite moths, design your own and capture lots of observations of these lovely creatures.
