Step into the past this Halloween and embark on a spellbinding Journey Through Time Trail at Ilam Park.

Explore the park while travelling through millions of years of history. From ancient landscapes and prehistoric creatures to historic events gone by, every step along the trail takes visitors further on an adventure through time. Visitors will receive a trail sheet packed with clues, questions and challenges to solve along the route. Imagine taking one step and leaping ten years into the past!

The basics
- Accessibility
The route will start past the tearoom, down our accessible path and then back across the parkland. Please note the parkland may be muddy in wet weather.
- Meeting point
Meet us at the Welcome hut or Bookshop to pick up your trail sheet.
