Ilam Park: June Power of the Poles led by Walxwhitepeak

A 90 minute session that will help you understand just how beneficial nordic walking can be and how it is far more than just walking with poles! Come and find out how to turn a walk into a workout.

  • Booking essential

The Power of the Poles Workshop is the best way to get started with poles. Walxwhitepeak’s instructors have an understanding of all nordic walking and fitness techniques and will guide you through the right poles, movement and practice for you. Walx poles will promote good posture to help you walk better, faster and further. During the workshop we will walk around Ilam Park using the poles and the Nordic Walking technique. This walk will be approximately 2 miles over a variety of terrain. Poles are provided, giving you the opportunity to try strapless or strapped Nordic Walking poles. Please wear suitable shoes and clothing for all weathers and bring a drink/snack.
