Join artist Paul Morin on a special 3 hour watercolour workshop in the beautiful surroundings of the Longshaw Estate. Working with good quality watercolour materials and paper, you will discover the wonderful immediacy and portability of this versatile medium – a chance to create your own masterpiece in this ideal location! Participants will learn: • How to select a scene. • How to plan a composition. • How to mix accurate colours. • How to paint effective ‘washes’. • How to approach painting outdoors. • How to effectively use a ‘limited-palette’.
The course will be suitable for beginners and/or those wishing to develop existing skills. All materials will be provided, but please bring any brushes or equipment you may already have as this may be useful to have on-hand.
