Join Sheffield-based dance workshop facilitators Shake Out! at the Moorland Discovery Centre for a fun-filled event that will have the whole family on their feet. Playful movement and dance games will be led by welcoming and energetic facilitators, with live and recorded folk music from around the world.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with yourself, your family and music through the power of dance.
This event is designed for children aged 5-11, but children of all ages are welcome. Adults must supervise their children at all times, and are warmly encouraged to join in!
Free of charge, but please book your place. Please book places for the total number of people joining in with the session, e.g. book 2 places if 1 adult and 1 child are joining in.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer holiday, join in the drop in activities in the Moorland Discovery Centre as part of our Summer of Play, sponsored by Starling Bank.

Moorland Discovery Centre, adjacent to Woodcroft car park.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for dancing. A T-shirt with trousers or shorts, and trainers are ideal. Please bring a bottle of water and sun protection, as needed.
- Accessibility
Accessible parking is available in Woodcroft car park. There is a slope down to the Moorland Discovery Centre itself, where there is an accessible toilet and baby change.
