The Children’s Country House is a fun place to explore history. On Home-Educator Days, enjoy the museum’s galleries, filled with childhood stories from across the centuries, and bring history to life with hands-on activities. Outdoor adventures await in the Gardens, from peaceful strolls to playful activities. Booking is required, and you can also book a workshop to take part in on the day. We will be open from 10am until 3pm. Entry is £5 per person, free for members.

Home-Educator Days at the Children's Country House have been designed to give you time to explore the site at your own pace without the hustle and bustle of a weekend or school holiday. The Museum and Grounds will be open on Home-Educator Days. The Café will be open serving a selection of hot drinks and light snacks.
