Across May half-term, join us for a fun-filled seaside themed day. Children can dig and build in oversized sandpits with buckets and spades, while adults relax nearby in deckchairs. Explore sensory rock pools and discover natural treasures from the sea, get creative in a kite-making craft workshop, and enjoy beach games together as a family. Finish the day with a delicious Bluebell’s Dairy ice cream from the Parlour.

This event is aimed at families, but everyone is welcome.
- Accessibility
Visitor Services and the Stable yard have step-free, level access throughout. The paths around the property are suitable for prams, pushchairs, and wheelchairs, following level paths from the Stable yard around the front of the Hall and into the rear gardens. Garden surfaces include gravel, compacted earth, and bark chip paths, with some uneven areas and tree roots.
