On the Mansion’s Ground Floor, journey through decorated rooms that showcase some of Attingham’s most memorable Christmas traditions from years gone by. With greenery, the sparkle of fairy lights, and baubles galore, discover how the season was marked in style.
In the Basement, step behind the scenes to see the servants getting ready for the family Christmas. With kitchens bustling, tables laid, and preparations in full swing, glimpse the excitement, work, and anticipation that shaped Christmas below stairs.
Tickets are available to book until 8am on the day of the booking.
Looking for a quieter visit? Visit during the weekday afternoons from 1 to 19 December and enjoy the magic of Christmas at Attingham at a slower pace.
Tickets to visit the Mansion are to be released in stages:
To visit the Mansion Monday 22 December to Sunday 28 December. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 11 December. To visit the Mansion Monday 29 December to Thursday 1 January 2026. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 18 December.
To make sure everyone can enjoy their visit smoothly and avoid turning anyone away, we’re trialling an extension of the pre-booking system to include Grounds Only visits. Grounds Only visits after 9.30am will require pre-booking from Saturday 20 December to Thursday 1 January.
If you have a Christmas in the Mansion ticket you do not need to book a Grounds Only ticket.
