Cambridge Touring Productions present the classic tale The Sword in the stone. This is a matinee performance aimed at children between 5 and 10 years old.
Young Wart dreams of becoming a squire, while his childhood friend Morgan sets her sights on fame and fortune. As they travel to the Tournament in London, they meet a host of colourful characters who guide them through strange challenges and teach them lasting lessons about friendship, courage, and finding their way in the world.
The performance will take place in the garden at Benthall Hall.

- What to bring and wear
This is an outdoors performance so please come prepared for all weather and bring a low-backed chair or rug to sit on. Seating is not provided. Picnics are welcome.

Gentle slopes in the garden. Accessible toilet available. Steep slopes and uneven ground on woodland walk.

Come dressed in costume if you like! Knight, Lady, Princess, Townsfolk, King or Queen. Please bring low-backed seating or rugs to sit on. This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather including sunscreen if appropriate. The performance lasts 2 hours including a 20-minute interval. The performance space opens at 4.30pm
