Heritage Open Days

Visit the garden free of charge. Various different entrances will be open exclusive to Heritage Open Days.

Experience Biddulph Grange garden free of charge from 18th- 20th September. The gates at the bottom of Lime Avenue will be opened so it's possible to recreate the route the garden's creator, James Bateman, used to visit St Lawrence church. The gates between the garden and the neighbouring local park will also be opened, joining the two areas for the first time in decades.

Main gates open: 10am -5:30pm Lime Avenue gates open: 11am -4pm Country Park (Obelisk Walk) gates open: 11am -4pm

Visitors can enter through our main entrance, through the church yard gates or the country park boundary gates.

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
