A Community Christmas in Comer Woods

Escape to Comer Woods with friends, family or the dog to enjoy a natural celebration. Take a wander through the woods to find the decorated trees and be inspired by what local schools and groups have been up to. Stop by the barn to hang your Christmas wish on the wishing tree, then warm up with a drink or a snack at the Café in Comer.

Christmas in Comer Woods will be back this winter. Explore the woodland on the self guided Christmas tree trail. All the decorations have been handmade and hung by local community groups.

The Trust 10 Christmas Jumper Run

Sunday 21 December - 9am

Join in with a festive 10k trail run, wear your Christmas jumper or other seasonal outfit! Enjoy a challenging run with stunning views of the surrounding Christmassy woodland. As usual, the route is made up of two loops so you've got the option of completing 4km or the full 10km course. Registration is from 8.30am at The Café by Heath Barns. The Trust 10 run will begin at 9am.

Wellbeing Walk to admire the Christmas Trees

Join our guided Wellbeing Walks Tuesday 9, Sunday 14, Saturday 23 December at 10am. Book your free ticket for a guided walk around the woods to see the Christmas trees and find out more about walking in the new year. Book your free place: Wellbeing Walks in Comer Woods | National Trust

What do I need to know before I visit?

There is no need to book to visit the trees, just arrive between 10.30am and 2.30pm. Christmas is all about togetherness, so we'd love you to drop in again and again throughout December.

The Cafe, toilets and barn are a short walk (approx 3 minutes) from the car park.

Parking in Comer Woods is free for National Trust members, please scan your membership card in the parking machine to receive your free ticket. Please check prices at Dudmaston Estate Comer Woods | National Trust for day parking for non-members. Thanks for your support.

Tramper hire is available on a first come, first served basis. There are two available. To book the tramper, please email dudmaston@nationaltrust.org.uk at least 24 hours before your visit.
