Visit us this Christmas and make magical reindeer food for Christmas Eve, create a wish for the world, make a Christmas decoration and, of course, visit Father Christmas and receive a gift.

The Rock Houses will be dressed with natural Christmas decorations and when you have enjoyed all the craft activities, see if you can find the wooden gnomes hidden around the site.

Tickets are £10 per child.  Normal admission charges apply and you will receive a free return visit for January or February 2024 (this is because we will only have 1 Rock House open for visitors).

Step back in time this Christmas. Visit Father Christmas and his woodland elves next to an open fire in a restored Rock House. Booking is essential.

Meet Father Christmas at the Rock Houses

Rag rugging was a very important skill for the people that lived at the Rock Houses. Nothing was wasted, all scrap materials were put to good use. Join us for this guided craft session and learn the skills to make your own rug or wreath. All materials are included.

Join us for a guided craft session at the Rock Houses. Using the rag rug technique, you'll make your very own rug or wreath to take home. All materials are included plus a hot drink and delicious piece of cake. £30 per person.
