Walk with our rangers to find out what it takes to look after a countryside site with a double SSSI award (Site of Special Scientific Interest). Learn about the priority habitats, rare species and the important ecology & geology across the site and how our rangers manage and balance this important conservation work as well as making sure it is accessible for visitors.

- Accessibility
There is a lot a of walking and it can be steep in some parts. It is unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. As it is a group walk and the rangers will be talking & sharing info we recommend that dogs do not attend as they can be very distracting. However, if you do bring your dog we ask that they are well behaved and kept on a lead at all times during the walk.
- Meeting point

- Suitability for children
This activity is aimed at adults but older children are welcome.
- What to bring and wear
Please ensure you wear sturdy footwear and sensible clothes (ideally layers and a waterproof) as the walk is across various undulating natural countryside terrains.
- Other
Please bring plenty of water to drink and any other refreshments/lunch as there is nowhere to stop to purchase any refreshments. Allow 3 hours for the walk but this can vary as each walk can be different and there will be stops to discuss conservation work.
