The Painted Paradise: 18th century landscapes of Shugborough

Discover Shugborough's historic landscapes through this exhibition of recently conserved watercolour paintings.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Take a closer look at our historic watercolours to see Thomas Anson’s vision for building his own paradise at Shugborough Estate.

Artists Nicholas Dall, Moses Griffith, and Edward Jones celebrated this vision through their paintings of Shugborough's monuments, including some structures that have long since disappeared.
