Heritage Open Days 2026: Free entry to Barrington Court
Enjoy free entry to Barrington Court's beautiful gardens & historic orchards, farm buildings, avenues and the ground floor of Strode House, where you can imagine what it was like as the Lyle's 1920s family home.

As part of Heritage Open Days, we invite you to enjoy free entry to Barrington Court from 14-18 September 2026. Discover information about the history of the two houses and estate. There are displays in the farm buildings and within the ground floor of Strode House. The gardens are open and will be transitioning from late summer to early autumn colour, and Beagles café will be open for refreshments. The National Trust gift shop and Book Barn will be open, and there are four independent workshops onsite (not NT - please check with individual workshops for opening times).
N.B. Court House remains closed due a long term restoration project.

On arrival, please check in at Visitor Reception.
- Accessibility
The estate is mostly wheelchair, mobility scooter and pushchair friendly, although does include some uneven ground, natural orchards and grassed areas which can become boggy in wet weather.
