Ready for an adventure beyond the village streets? Step into the wooded hills, hidden valleys and open countryside surrounding Nether Stowey on this free guided walk through the landscapes that inspired Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

Discover, in Coleridge's own words, a "luxury of landscapes" as you explore ancient woodland, babbling streams, rolling fields and breathtaking panoramic views alongside one of our knowledgeable walk leaders.

Dogs on leads are welcome. Normal admission applies for those wishing to visit Coleridge Cottage, while the tearoom is open to all free of charge.

Accessibility

Please keep in mind that these walks include uneven terrain and may be hilly in places. There are steep sections with some rough terrain and loose rocks underfoot. Some long ascents with fairly steep sections. Some stiles/narrow lych-gates.

Meeting point

Meet at Coleridge Cottage at 8:45.

Suitability for children

Children welcome. Dogs on a lead welcome.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather and wear study footwear suitable for walking. No flip flops or heeled shoes. Please bring water and snacks.

Toilets available at Coleridge Cottage and in the Nether Stowey Library Car Park.
