Big Draw® - Artist in Residence

Sutton Hoo is pleased to welcome Suffolk artist Amanda Warren as ‘Artist in Residence’ working onsite to create her unique and inspiring mixed media artwork.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Amanda spent time at Sutton Hoo during the Time Team excavations in 2025 and developed a real passion for the site with all its amazing history, nature and wildlife.

This is a great opportunity to observe an artist immersed in the creative process. Amanda will be happy to discuss her inspiration and techniques with visitors as she works. Although largely based in the Discovery Room at Tranmer House, you may come across her in other locations, outdoors or in the museum, between 10.30 and 16.30 during her ‘Artist in Residence’ days.
