The Experimental Sutton Hoo Ship: Context and Design is the first book in a new trilogy authored by Professor Martin Carver focusing on the replica Sutton Hoo ship currently being constructed by the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company in Woodbridge. It explores the context of the original ship including the people who constructed it and the relationship with other contemporary vessels across the world. A rivetting read!
