Book Signing with Professor Martin Carver

Professor Martin Carver, the director of the 1980s excavations at Sutton Hoo, will be signing copies of his latest book The Experimental Sutton Hoo Ship: Context and Design in the shop at Sutton Hoo.

The Experimental Sutton Hoo Ship: Context and Design is the first book in a new trilogy authored by Professor Martin Carver focusing on the replica Sutton Hoo ship currently being constructed by the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company in Woodbridge. It explores the context of the original ship including the people who constructed it and the relationship with other contemporary vessels across the world. A rivetting read!
