Join ornithologist Steve Abbott for a trip in to the woods at Sutton Hoo where each year nightingales migrate from central Africa to breed. As the sun sets hear their iconic song fill the valleys of the Sutton Hoo landscape.

Suitability

This tour is most suitable for adults and children aged 12 and above

Meeting point

Please meet by the ship sculpture in the courtyard where you will be met by a member of the Sutton Hoo team.

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable walking shoes and outdoor clothing for a spring evening. Please bring a torch with you and binoculars if you have them.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, due to uneven and slippery surfaces, this walk is not wheelchair or walking stick friendly.
