Evening Chorus Guided Walk

As the sun begins to set enjoy the sound of birdsong as it fills the landscape of Sutton Hoo.

Join ornithologist Steve Abbott or our ranger, Jonathan, for a walk across the Sutton Hoo landscape and enjoy the sound of the evening chorus. You might hear skylarks nesting on the Royal Burial Ground or nightingales that have migrated from central Africa to breed.

This tour is most suitable for adults and children aged 12 and above

Meeting point

Please meet outside the front of our Visitor Welcome building.

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable walking shoes and outdoor clothing for a spring evening. Please bring a torch with you and binoculars if you have them.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, due to uneven and slippery surfaces, this walk is not wheelchair or walking stick friendly.
