Summer of Play at Sutton Hoo
Enjoy a Summer of Play at Sutton Hoo. With activities indoors and outdoors there's something to entertain all ages.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Borrow a free activity pack and explore life as an Anglo-Saxon. Spot majestic beasts on the sculpture trail, climb to the top of the viewing tower, try out a sword and shield for size and hear tales told by the Anglo-Saxons. Visit Tranmer House, the home of Edith Pretty, and dress up as an archaeologist – just like those who uncovered the Hoo’s secret treasure and then head over to the adventure play area to blow off some steam – there’s so much to see, do, feel and experience at Sutton Hoo this summer.
