Café talks at Box Hill

From inspiration for artists and authors, to the training ground for the Special Operations Executive and a refuge for children fleeing persecution during the Second World War, discover the history of the Surrey Hills in this new series of evening talks in the café at Box Hill.

All talks will take place in the main café at Box Hill. Hot and cold drinks and light refreshments will be available to purchase from the Servery before the talks.

Café talk: Canadians, SOE and spies in the Surrey Hills

Join local historian, Lorraine Spindler for tales of secrets, spies and covert operations and how the Canadian army transformed this little part of England. £5 per person. Booking essential.

Café talk: Front line Surrey Hills
