Discover how the hidden traces of history beneath our feet reveal untold stories of the heritage and archaeology of this beautiful place.
The walk is free of charge after normal property admission has been paid. Places are limited to 12 people and must be booked in advance online. The route includes approaching the house via the west lawn where only assistance dogs are permitted.

The walk takes place outside with some uneven surfaces. All-terrain trampers and trikes are available to borrow, please book in advance by calling 01483 222482 or by email at hatchlands@nationaltrust.org.uk.

Please book online in advance and meet at visitor reception on the day.
- What to bring and wear
Appropriate clothing for the weather is recommended, including sun cream, sun hat and water bottles in hot weather along with sturdy boots or shoes.
