Explore the fascinating history of Reigate fort, built in 1898 as part of a chain of defensive forts, at this two-day family event.

Meet costumed interpreters, see historic vehicles, explore inside the historic fort buildings, and learn how Reigate Fort played an important role in protecting London and the South East.
There will also be a series of talks from expert speakers covering a wide range of topics, including the Secret Operations Executive in Surrey, the historic Vickers factory at Weybridge, RAF Kenley, the story of the Kindertransport, Women and the Victorian army and Dorking in the First World War.

The basics
- Accessibility
Please note that there is no parking at Reigate Fort. Public car parks are located at Wray Lane – RH2 0HX and Margery Wood – KT20 7EJ - with a ten/fifteen minute walk over rough ground to the fort. From Reigate train station it's approximately a 40 minute walk (up hill).
- Suitability for children
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable boots of shoes for walking as it is a 15 minute walk from the car park to Reigate Fort.

Entry to the festival is £5 per adult and £2.50 per child. Under 5s go free. Sorry no cash, card payments only.
