May Bank Holiday family fun
Join us at Dapdune Wharf for a variety of family fun bank holiday activities that will include ‘making it rain’ in a sandbox and water sports with ROAR Outdoor.

This May bank holiday, learn more about rivers with the River Wey Trust’s immersive augmented reality sandbox. ‘Make it rain’, dig channels through the sand to ‘create rivers’, see the contour lines change as you ‘shape hills’ and have fun with the volcano and snow modes. This is a free activity which is both fun and educational for all ages.
ROAR Outdoor will be offering a range of activities to choose from. Enjoy getting out on the river with their 40-minute kayak or paddleboard taster sessions for £5 per person, get creative with some natural crafts for £3 and toast marshmallows over a fire pit for just £2.
Booking is required for ROAR Outdoor activities.

Booking is required for the taster sessions only. Entry to Dapdune Wharf and the sandbox is free.
- Suitability
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring and wear
For kayaking and paddleboarding please bring a towel and change of clothes.
