Display of Su Blackwell's 'Bateman's Reimagined'

Inspired by Bateman’s, Rudyard Kipling’s family home and his most beloved story The Jungle Book, paper artist Su Blackwell crafted Bateman’s Reimagined from copies of Kipling’s handwritten manuscript of The Jungle Book.

Su Blackwell's Bateman’s Reimagined paper house returns to Bateman's this Autumn. ‘Bateman’s Reimagined’ is created from copies of the story’s original handwritten manuscript, commissioned especially for Bateman’s.

Su Blackwell's artwork will be displayed in Elsie's Room, which is on the ground floor.

The artwork will be on display until Sunday 14th February 2027.
