Join National Trust archaeologist Nathalie Cohen as she takes you on a tour of a live archaeological dig.

Nathalie Cohen is the President of the Royal Archaeological Institute and Regional Archaeologist for National Trust properties in London and South-East. Natalie will share her extensive knowledge of the history and archaeology of Bodiam as you explore the dig site, learn about the finds and watch excavations in action.
Thursday 7 – Saturday 9 August, 11.00am Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 August, 11.00am Thursday 21 – Friday 22 August, 11.00am & 2.00pm
£8 per adult, £4 per child.
Max. 25 per tour. 1 hour duration. Booking essential.
Please note: content of tour may vary from day to day depending on the discoveries made over the duration of the 3 week dig project.

Suitable for adults and children aged 8 plus, accompanied by an adult.

Please meet outside Visitor Reception where you will be taken to the dig site.

This event takes place outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
- Accessibility
This event takes place over uneven terrain and is unsuitable for those with limited mobility and wheelchair users. Please see the access pages at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bodiam-castle for further information.

Other information: £5 parking per car for non-members which can be purchased on arrival. Parking is free for National Trust members. If you would like to visit the castle and grounds, non-members will need to purchase an admission ticket from Visitor Reception.
