Dream House Tours
Join a tour around the outside of the house at Nymans, looking at the building and seeing how it developed since 1890 when it was purchased by Ludwig Messel.

Booking in advance isn’t needed, collect a ticket on arrival from visitor welcome, tickets are subject to availability. This is a free of charge tour, lasting around 45 minutes. Meet in the Riding House courtyard just before the tour begins at 11.30am. Tours runs daily during the week. No tours available at the weekend or on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Take a behind the scenes look inside the house on a sneak peek tour. Tours last approximately 30 minutes and are included in general admission. Please go to Visitor Welcome to collect a ticket. (Limited availability).
The Art of Illusion: The Theatrical World of Oliver Messel
Sat 13 Jun – Sun 1 Nov: 11am–3.30pm. An exhibition upstairs in the gallery, exploring the creativity of Oliver Messel, theatre designer for stage and screen, and master of illusion and make-believe. Normal admission applies.

Join one of our expert volunteer Tree Guides for a 90 minute tour showcasing the magnificence of the trees at Nymans throughout the seasons.
Friday Lates
Every Fri 19 Jun - 24 Jul: 5pm - 8pm. Make the most of the summer evenings & experience the garden in a new light. Pack up a picnic, flick out your rug, sit back & enjoy live music on the main lawn. Takeaway drinks and snacks available too.
