Winnie-the-Pooh's Centenary Exhibition

Sat 14 Feb - Sun 31 May: 11am - 4pm with last admission at 3.30pm. Gallery exhibition that spotlights some of Pooh's best known adventures.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join us in the Gallery at Nymans as we celebrate a hundred years of Winnie-the-Pooh. Take a closer look at the classic books and learn about some of the real-life stories behind the much-loved tales. Extracts and imagery from the stories give a glimpse into the Hundred Acre Wood and introduce you to the lovable cast of characters who live there. Find out more about A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard, the writer and artist who created Pooh and his friends, and how the local Sussex landscape provided inspiration for the setting of the Winnie-the-Pooh stories. Learn about Nymans’ own connection with Shepard through items from our collection on display. Please note that the Gallery is upstairs in the house and is accessed by staircase.
