Spring Festival: Garden Talks
As a part of our Spring Festival gardening enthusiasts will be treated to a series of talks from Thursday 16 - Sunday 19 April with specialist speakers including Arthur Parkinson.

Take a seat in our Garden Theatre marquee on The North Lawn to hear a variety of speakers.
Thurs 16 April -
11.30am: Professor of Biology at University of Sussex, and author Dave Goulson on 'The Bee Spotter's Guide.
2pm: Join Petworth's Head Gardener Martyn Burkinshaw to discover Petworth’s Journey into Bee Keeping.
Fri 17 April –
2pm: Arthur Parkinson shares his gardening year in this photograph album talk of gardens he has known and grown.
Sat 18 April –
11.30am: Learn How to create beautiful borders with National Trust head gardener and author Robyn Booth.
2pm: Local expert Beverly Exall talks about wildlife friendly gardening and preparing for climate change.
Sun 19 April -
11.30am: Hear how Petworth's horticultural history is shaping our future choices with Petworth's Head Gardener.

The talks will take place undercover in a marquee located on The North Lawn area of the Gardens.
- Accessibility
There is a 15 minute walk from the car park to the Garden Theatre on gravel/uneven paths. The mobility buggy will be running from the car park to the Garden Theatre, and House on request.

No need to book, just come along to the Garden Theatre on the day. Free with admission.
