Guided Chirk Castle estate walk
Discover more about the 480-acre Chirk Castle estate by joining our ranger volunteers for a guided walk.

The walk takes place on Wednesday, 18 March and 8 and 22 April at 11am until approximately 12.30pm. It will cover some interesting areas of natural history and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear suitable walking shoes/boots and dress according to the weather. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden.

Not suitable for younger children.
- Meeting point
Meet on the grassed area by the kiosk down at Home Farm, a short distance from the ticket office.
- What to bring and wear
Wear sensible walking shoes/boots. Dress according to the weather. You may also need to bring an umbrella and waterproof coat.
- Accessibility
This walk takes place on uneven grassland and is unsuitable for wheelchairs, visitors with limited mobility and prams/pushchairs.
