Guided Chirk Castle estate walk
Discover more about the 480-acre Chirk Castle estate by joining our ranger volunteers for a guided walk.

The walk takes place on Wednesday, 24 September, at 11am until approximately 12.30pm. It will cover some interesting areas of natural history and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear suitable walking shoes/boots and dress according to the weather. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and garden.

Not suitable for younger children.
- Meeting point
Meet on the grassed area by the kiosk down at Home Farm, a short distance from the ticket office.
- What to bring and wear
Wear sensible walking shoes/boots. Dress according to the weather. You may also need to bring an umbrella and waterproof coat.
- Accessibility
This walk takes place on uneven grassland and is unsuitable for wheelchairs, visitors with limited mobility and prams/pushchairs.
