Dinefwr is the perfect place to begin, or continue, your Christmas traditions.
Winter glow will be flowing throughout Newton House as the Christmas celebrations begin. Look out for beautifully made decorations, the Creatures of Dinefwr Christmas tree and Santa’s visits.
Every year artist Bettina Reeves adds to the Creatures of Dinefwr Christmas tree. Taking up a new central space in the house – this year’s display is not to be missed. Take your time to find all the creatures and see who’ll be first at spotting them all. #
Santa’s Grotto will be hosted in the Drawing Room for pre-booked visits. Tickets will be out in the autumn, keep your eye out on this page and book your place. On days when he’s not visiting, he won’t mind if you take a moment to sit in his throne. Throughout the house there’ll be Christmas themed activities, crafts and games, and maybe even a Christmas Film in the Ale Cellar.
Top off your day with a brisk walk around the parkland or a visit to warm up by the fire in the café.

Dress for the weather we have, a rain coat and a jumper wont do any harm.

Level access to Newton House, ramped access into the Ground Floor. Access to the basement is only by stairs, the lift is no longer operational.

Dogs are welcome on the ground floor and in the basement of the house.
