Pack a picnic (or grab a snack in the café) and play games in the beautiful spring gardens at Dyffryn Gardens this May half term.

Picnic on sweeping lawns, explore nature-packed garden rooms and enjoy views from your favourite period drama. Dyffryn Gardens is the perfect backdrop for a day of outdoor play with the whole family.
From 23 - 31 May, discover interactive games throughout the gardens including; giant Connect 4, badminton, table tennis, boules and archery.
Borrow a picnic blanket and bring your own feast or stop by the café for cakes and sandwiches before settling down to take in the beautiful surroundings.
Inside the Gallery, younger visitors can enjoy colouring activities, while teens and adults can pick up a Creative Kit inspired by the colours and textures of the gardens in spring.
Families can also borrow an Explorer Backpack from the Welcome Centre, filled with tools and activities to help children spot birds, discover trees and explore nature along the way.
Whether you’re playing games, getting creative indoors or simply finding a quiet corner to read a book in company, Picnic & Play May is a chance to enjoy Dyffryn at its springtime best.
