May half term at Erddig
Join us this May half term to celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week with a range of nature-inspired family activities.

From 23-31 May, take part in hands-on craft activities and try the garden quiz to learn all about how bees and butterflies help the garden to flourish. On Tuesday 26 May and Thursday 28 May, drop into the education room anytime between 11am and 3pm to have a go at our bee and butterfly-themed crafts. Join Emma Howes for a family-friendly workshop on Wednesday, 27 May, 11am–1pm and learn how to make your own felt bee. Places are offered on a first come, first‑served basis on arrival, with one bee per family. Then on Friday, 29 May, create your own seed bomb anytime between 11am and 3pm to take home and plant in your garden. May half term activities are free, normal admission charges apply (free entry for National Trust members and under 5s).

- What to bring and wear
Dress according to the weather. These events take place indoors and outdoors.
- Accessibility
The lower ground floor of the house is accessible. Our gardens and outbuildings are accessible with ramped wheelchair access to the gardens. The area near the stable yard is cobbled. The paths in the gardens are fine loose gravel and Wolf's Den has wood chip flooring.
