This Christmas, step into a world of festive enchantment as you head on a Nutcracker Adventure at Erddig. From 29 November until 4 January this classic tale is beautifully re-imagined in the historic passageways and rooms of Erddig Hall. Families can journey through the magical realms of snow, candy and garden and flowers ending in a glittering ball. As you explore, marvel at beautifully decorated trees, listen for the sounds of magical music, and soak up the joyful atmosphere as each room reveals a new festive delight. Then twirl into the Grade-I listed garden and follow the ballet-themed trail - see if can you leap like a sugar plum fairy or pirouette to escape the sneaky Rat Army. From Saturday, 29 November, 2025 - Sunday, January 4, 2026 Erddig is open 10am-4pm (closed 24 & 25 December), with the house open 11.30am - 3pm. From 15 to 18 December, Erddig will stay open later - explore the house from 11.30am-3pm and 4-7pm (last entry 6.15pm) and experience the magic after dark. Please note the garden will close at 4pm. This is a free event, but normal admission charges apply, free entry for National Trust members and under 5s.
