This autumn, National Trust Cymru is celebrating Calan Gaeaf at places across Wales.
Calan Gaeaf marks the beginning of winter in the Welsh calendar on 1 November. It is a tradition closely connected with the changing seasons, the end of harvest and old Welsh beliefs about spirits, strange creatures and the Otherworld.
At Erddig, follow the fun, family-friendly trails through the house and garden and discover some of the creatures and stories taken from? Welsh folklore along the way.
There’ll be more to get involved with throughout the week too, with seasonal crafts and marshmallow toasting adding to the autumn experience.
Explore at your own pace as the garden moves into its autumn colours and discover a different side to Erddig as the days grow shorter.
