Join us for rafted canoe sessions on the Menai Strait. These introductory sessions will run every Sunday and Monday from Plas Newydd from 20 July to 18 August 2025.

Rafted canoe sessions at Plas Newydd

Plas Newydd has always had a connection to the water, whether it was the historic family or pupils from H.M.S Conway Naval School, sailing has been an important part of this place for many years. This summer, we invite you to get active and use Plas Newydd as these previous residents once did.

You will be able to partake in canoe sessions on the Menai Strait. Each session will be tailored to the group and is designed for all abilities. If you have additional needs, please contact us in advance and we can work with the instructor to ensure the right equipment/support is available. Conway Centres are delivering this activity on behalf of National Trust

You will be led by a qualified instructor, who will look after you during your session and provide all the information and equipment you need to enjoy your time on the water.
