Photography Group at Powis Castle and Garden

Back by popular demand, join one of our volunteer photographers in the garden to learn something new, meet new people and enjoy being in the great outdoors.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Whether you're new to the world of photography or you're quite the savvy photographer, everyone's welcome to join this fun and relaxed group.

Meeting at the Coach House, Neil will guide the group for approximately one hour around the garden and perimeter of the castle, whilst you suss out spots to put your skills to the test.

This group is informal and relaxed, there's no pressure to deliver your best work. It's about learning from others and sharing your expertise, enjoying all nature has to offer at this wonderful time of year and meeting new people.

All ages and abilities are welcome to join the group. Whether you've got a digital camera or like using your phone, everyone's welcome to come along.

After the hour session, feel free to wander the garden and castle (no photography inside) as you wish, or why not grab a coffee whilst you review the photos you've snapped?

We hope to see you there.
