Heritage Open Day at Charlecote Park
We're opening our doors for free for Heritage Open Days on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 September!
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Come and explore the beautiful park, gardens and house at Charlecote Park for free. Explore the outbuildings, wander through the deer park, and find out about the collection at Charlecote Park.
Our friendly volunteers will tell you about the history of this special place – where Shakespeare is rumoured to have been caught poaching – and guide you through the site. In addition to the main house, the Victorian kitchen, laundry house, brew house and tack room are open to visitors.
Children will stay entertained for hours with the outdoors games and activities available in the gardens.
During your visit, the souvenir shop or cafés will be open, so we've got you covered if you forgot your picnic!
Pre-booking is not necessary.
