An afternoon of sun and star gazing

Discover the wonders of the summer skies, as we celebrate the Greek Muse of astronomy, Urania, inspired by a rare Chelsea porcelain figure in our collection.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join us on the south terrace for an afternoon with the Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomical Group. These local star gazers will be offering visitors the chance to view phenomenon such as the sun in white light and daytime views of the moon and stars up close through telescopes. Chat with the group about their sightings and ask questions you've always wanted to know about our universe.
