Join in with the celebration of blossom – discover a range of activities to get involved in. From events and crafts, to meditation and gardening.

A selection of blossom experiences are taking place this spring, created through local partnerships. From parades and picnics to blossom themed arts and craft workshops, there's lots of activities to get involved with across towns and cities near you.
Join us for a fun workshop to create your very own blossom lantern, ready for the parade celebrating blossom on 18 April. Book your free space on the Bath Assembly Rooms events pages.
Come bask in blossom as we take the celebrations through the centre of Bath. Through props and costumes made at workshops or home, you can get involved in celebrating the blossom season. Gather for the parade at 2pm; we'll start shortly after this and take a short route from the Guildhall towards Great Pulteney Street, down Argyle Street, before ending in Parade Gardens. Everyone is welcome to join in the Blossom Parade, which is part of the Festival of Blossom.
Join us for a day full of family-friendly activities as we welcome the arrival of spring and celebrate the opening of the National Trust's four new Blossom Spaces across East Birmingham. From flower crown making and scavenger trails to storytelling and facepainting, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The first 150 people to enter the event and tell us how they heard about the Blossom Bash will receive a token for a free hot or cold drink from the cafe.
Bring some food and join the National Trust and Friends of Stechford Hall Park at their first ever Community Spring Picnic. Take part in several family-friendly, free activities such as completing a trail around the newly created Blossom Space, crafting at our arts table, or getting active in one of the fun fitness sessions led by Mr Bollywood and Maxine Smith.
Spend a wonderful afternoon celebrating the beautiful cherry blossoms at Brindleyplace, one of Birmingham's most picturesque squares. Take a walk among the cherry blossom, have a go at blossom windsock making or browse the outdoor Art and Craft Market and food stalls.
This spring, the National Trust is encouraging children across the country who are aged 5 to 11 to celebrate blossom by becoming a Blossom Pen Pal. Complete three blossom inspired spring tasks, including a short letter to a new pen pal, by 31 May. Email the address below for instructions. Tips and templates are included and every child or group who completes the tasks will receive a certificate.

E‑bike the whole of the Tyne Derwent Way and discover the incredible birdlife along the route.
Celebrate the joy and 'wow' factor of spring blossom in this session with artist Sofia Barton. You will be using inks, pastels and pencils to celebrate the colour and vibrancy of nature and this season of new life.
