Join Artist in Residence Georgie Weedon and sound practitioner Mia MacAllister for a special evening of art, sound and stillness. Beginning at the historic Dovecote, the evening opens with Georgie’s immersive sound installation before moving outside for a slow, contemplative walk through Avebury Manor Garden. As evening begins to settle, Georgie and Mia will lead you through the garden, pausing for a gentle guided meditation and an opportunity to slow down, listen and experience this remarkable place in a different way. The journey then continues into the Racquets Court Gallery, home to Georgie’s Ancient Pathways exhibition — a new body of paintings inspired by Avebury’s stones, pathways, changing skies, flowers and the traces left by generations of people moving through this landscape. Surrounded by the paintings, Mia will lead an hour-long immersive sound journey and gong bath, creating a space for deep rest and reflection. The evening will close gently with herbal tea in the gallery before returning through Avebury as night falls. No previous experience of meditation or sound baths is needed. Simply come prepared to slow down, listen and experience Avebury through sound, colour and nature.
