The Hares of Avebury Manor Garden
A group of magical hares have arrived in Avebury Manor Garden, carrying a special Christmas message.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Every winter, after the first frost, eight magical hares visit Avebury Manor Garden from their woodland hideaways. Known as the Hollytail Hares, they carry a special Christmas message.
Each hare is holding a letter, and all eight letters put together spell a word that captures the spirit of the festive season.
Can you find all the hares, complete the trail, and solve their word puzzle?
Pick up a map from Visitor Reception in the barn that contains clues to their locations in the garden.
The trail is free but normal garden admission applies. National Trust members get free entry to Avebury Manor Garden.
