Two years after being damaged by severe flooding, Avebury Manor is reopening with a new experience for visitors.
‘Avebury as Home’ invites visitors to explore the manor not simply as a historic house, but as a place shaped by the people who lived and worked there.
It presents Avebury Manor as a home across the centuries, from Tudor courtiers and farming families to archaeologists, servants and children, all connected by the idea of Avebury as home.
Join us for the reopening event on Saturday 25 April from 11am, which includes live re-enactment musicians playing traditional music in the garden and classic games for children.
Normal admission applies to Avebury Manor. Please visit the National Trust Avebury home page for details on prices. Entry is free for National Trust members.
Last entry to Avebury Manor is at 4pm, with the house closing at 5pm.
